For eight consecutive years EA and Activision have claimed the top spot for Christmas with Need For Speed and Call of Duty. Not this year however. Bethesda has claimed the Christmas No.1 spot with Skyrim.
Bethesda’s RPG sold 15,000 more units than Ubisoft’s Just Dance 3, which itself has climbed the charts slowly over the last few weeks and now sits in second.
Activision’s Modern Warfare 3 sits in third, despite a 2% increase in sales.
Being Christmas week game sales are set to increase rapidly over the next few days.
