PES Demo Before FIFA

Pro Evo 2011 Demo Dated

Konami have announced that the Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 demo will launch on the 15th of September for PC and PS3.

The planned release is one day before the scheduled launch of the FIFA 11 demo, announced by EA a few short weeks ago. What’s more, if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber, you’ll be able to download the demo even earlier, from the 8th of September. No date has been announced for a 360 demo, though we’d be highly surprised if it didn’t launch on the 15th as well.

As usual, the PES demo will allow you to step out onto the pitch for a full match using a small handful of teams, in this instance Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chivas Guadalajara and Internacional. So, we can expect to get our hands on cover star Lionel Messi, but it’s highly unlikely the rosters will be updated enough to feature Javier Mascherano and his thirty pieces of silver.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is due for release on October 8th, one week on from FIFA’s release. Konami have promised big things for the one-time leading player in the genre, including the long awaited return of the Merseyside Reds.
