Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, the first part of the Starcraft II trilogy has clocked up a massive three million sales worldwide in its first month of release, publisher Blizzard has revealed.
Following a simultaneous launch in 17 different territories, the title has become the best selling PC game of 2010 to date, as well as the fastest selling RTS game of all time. Not a bad couple of achievements to put on the resume, don’t you think?
Our very own Kit Goodliffe is a proud part of that first three million, and you can check out what he thought of it right here. You can no doubt bet that Blizzard will hope to repeat this success with the next part of the trilogy, Heart of the Swarm, as well as it’s conclusion, Legacy of the Void.
