If there’s one thing us gamers love it’s freebies. If those freebies happen to be little miniature collectable from the world of video games, or better still – actual games, then that’s enough to keep a smile on our face until the thumbs are safely glued to the next awesome game.
Not long after Ben handed over his precious limited edition copy of Heavy Rain (for a borrow, with my life given as insurance that I won’t let the two year old get hold of it), Rich T handed over a bagful of W** DVDs to keep me entertained for a month or five. This was followed by SEGA sending a copy of Iron Man 2 (without me having to ask for it (perhaps that says a lot about the quality)). As great as all this is, nothing beats the ultimate in gamer’s gifting: The bag of random and awesome gamer goods.
Check list:
1 x Halo Wars pen (black ink and actually working).
1 x Dark Void figure
1 x Monster Hunter Tri monster head figure (awesome)
1 x Vault Boy key ring (because Fallout rules)
1 x BioShock 2 T-shirt (not pictured)
1 x Metroid II: Return of the Samus on Game Boy (collection complete)
Out of all these top goodies you’d probably put Metroid as the most awesome of all, right?
Wrong…
1 x Street Fighter Guile T-shirt (and now I know you’re jealous).
A bag full of random gamer goodies is how to keep a gamer happy. Thanks Chris.
Haha you’re welcome, and i’m more jealous of your photoshop skills.
Photoshop? I don’t know what you’re talking about
